AeroSense-Mini70-M

Marine-grade AeroSense-Mini70-M propeller wind sensor (0-70 m/s) hardened for harsh ocean climate and high-salinity environments.

AeroSense-Mini70-M is the marine variant of the AeroSense-Mini60 series. It extends the wind speed range to 70 m/s and adds materials and surface treatments tuned for harsh ocean environments — high humidity, salt spray, sun exposure, and exposed offshore decks.

Overview

AeroSense-Mini70-M is the marine variant of the AeroSense-Mini60 propeller wind sensor. It is engineered for offshore vessels, oil and gas platforms, navigational buoys, and coastal stations exposed to high salinity, humidity, and sun. The wind speed range is extended to 70 m/s while retaining the small 0.6 kg body that makes the AeroSense-Mini60 family easy to mount and service.

The sensor outputs NMEA-0183 over RS485 by default and supports analog, Modbus RTU, CAN, SDI-12, and ASCII alternatives to plug into existing onboard or shore-side telemetry systems.
