AeroSense-Mini60 is a lightweight propeller-style wind speed and direction sensor that delivers horizontal wind data for marine, transportation, and renewable-energy meteorology. The compact 0.6 kg AAS body is rated to IP66 and configurable across RS485, NMEA, Modbus RTU, CAN, SDI-12, and analog outputs.

Overview

AeroSense-Mini60 is a compact propeller wind sensor used to measure horizontal wind speed and wind direction. The integrated assembly combines a tail vane, propeller, head cone, wind-speed shaft, mounting post, and junction box in a small AAS plastic body that resists UV light and oxidation for long outdoor service.

Its small form factor and low weight make it well-suited to coastal stations, vessels, wind farms, transportation meteorology, and research observatories. The sensor ships with NMEA-0183 over RS485 by default and supports a wide variety of optional protocols for direct integration into existing data acquisition systems.
