Overview

WaveSense-A is an acceleration-based wave sensor built around a nine-axis inertial measurement principle and Zenocean's self-developed wave algorithm. It measures wave height, wave period, wave direction, and wave spectrum data effectively in compact marine deployments.

The sensor is intended for small and medium ocean observation buoys, surface drifters, USVs, and professional wave buoys. Its low average power draw, onboard storage, and standard digital interfaces make it practical for long-duration unattended monitoring.
